West Indies have won first match of their group beetling Ireland by 70 runs. Irish bowlers restricted West Indies to just 138/9 another low scoring total of the day. D.Sammy makes 30 runs of just 17 balls smashing 4×2 and 6×2 at the end.

In reply Irish Batsmen juggled badly in chase. Whole Irish team got out after scoring just 68 runs in 16.4 overs. GC Wilson was the only batsmen to enter into the double figures.  Ravi Rampaul and D.Sammy clinches 3 wickets each.
